I was all inspired today to start making, so I took a trip to the little shop owned by The Makery and bought some very lovely things….some baker’s thread, Japanese masking tape and some polka dot fabric squares. The Makery Emporium is such a fab little shop, every nook and cranny is jam-packed with great things to buy.

The Makery is a fantastic place to learn how to make all sorts of things. It’s a ‘creative hub’ run by husband and wife team, Nigel and Kate. There are loads of different workshops to choose from, including basic sewing, making your own knickers, bookbinding, revamping tired furniture, learning how to knit and many more. You can also just drop by if you fancy, on a Friday morning and work on your own creative projects whilst having a spot of tea and cake. How fab is that?
